Marvellous and peaceful location not far from the restaurant or the bar, the centre of Markinch and all public areas. Again, not far from Balbirnie Railway Viaduct.

Airy & new-fashioned rooms with good facilities.

The breakfast was sensational, the staff was courteous, the grounds were clean. The king room was nice with exceptionally comfortable beds. The team provided an excellent service. The facilities were excellent too. Appreciated the attached restaurant.

The value for money at Banners House was excellent, with a wonderfully decorated room and a friendly staff who made me feel right at home. The location was perfect, just a 2-minute walk from the train station and with frequent bus service nearby.

The morning meal could have been better with more variety or options available.

All in all great and quiet setting near to a restaurant in Markinch as well as Markinch railway station. Unique design of interiors in standard king room. A bath in the bathroom.

Although the rooms are well-appointed, some guests have mentioned that the bathrooms are more focused on aesthetics than practicality, with issues such as difficult-to-adjust shower temperatures and inconveniently designed sinks.

Sensational breakfast with locals was available. The location was great and quiet, right next to the train station and the interior design was unique. Further, it was near to bar/restaurant;))
